We recently brought the kids in for their annual photo shoot. A good friend has her own studio and a fabulous assistant and made what could have been a very stressful time, something fun with great results. Maria was feeling pretty icky but did a great job.
Have fun looking!

Birthday GIRLS!
The Birthday Girls!
It was supposed to be a Sesame Street/Barbie Beach Party until the weather changed our plans. Everyone packed into our house and we partied away. Sarah, Shawn, and I made the pinata filled with candy, fruit by the foot, and party favors.
My dad made the girls their very own doll house. It looks just like our house!! He even made the table it is sitting on.
The party was a success! People were fed, kids were happy, and we were exhausted. It can't get much better than that!!
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. We are so blessed to have you in our lives.

Our baby girl is 2 years old now! The time has gone by so fast! We had a nice, low key day with the birthday girl by going to the park and playing outside. Evie and Jude gave her gifts right away in the morning. Jude picked out huge chalk for her and Evie got her a princess color wonder. Daddy and I got her a sandbox. In the evening Nanna and Uncles came over to celebrate with us and have cake and ice cream.

4th of July Weekend
It sure was a fun weekend as a family. For the 4th of July we went the cabin on Big Carnellian. The kids were itching for Grandpa Mark to take them fishing. So, after a fabulous dinner, we all hopped on the pontoon and trolled around the lake, stopping to fish for a bit. Afterwards we went back to the cabin to prepare to watch fireworks. This year we watched them from the pontoon on the lake. They were the best fireworks display I have ever seen!
Maria LOVED riding around on the pontoon!
Evie had the opportunity to drive for a bit. She was hesitant at first, then had a great time.
Then Jude went behind the wheel. There is never a dull moment with him! He was in his element and was driving like he was in a race.
On Monday we went to Willow River State Park in Hudson, WI. Although I thought I was never going to recover from the steep hill and jagged rocks we had to walk up and down, the kids had a GREAT time!
Daddy helped the kids on the freezing cold, slippery rocks. Maria was terrified of the entire waterfall experience.
Maria was checking out the cave to make sure it was safe.
Jude found a leaf big enough to be a blanket.
Evie found the perfect place to make her Dance Fairy House.
Time to stop for a picnic!

Photo Shoot with Baby Joe
For my 30th birthday Shawn surprised me with the gift of getting a 4D ultrasound. My birthday was back in March- we had to wait until I was farther along to be able to get better pictures of the little man. Our appointment was a lot of fun. I wish we had an ultrasound machine at home to see the baby whenever we want! Wouldn't that be the best?! Joe was showing off almost the entire time and was very active. We got to see him stretch, open and close his mouth, slightly open one of his eyes, and put his hands on his face.
We went to Enlightened 4D Imaging and Photography in Woodbury. http://www.enlightened4dimaging.com/
Don't I look like my sister Maria in this picture?
I am getting so sleepy!
I was putting my hand on my face and being shy...
