Progression of Baby Poppyseed

If we have ever talked about pregnancies, you may have picked up that I really enjoy being pregnant. Not only have I been blessed with amazing pregnancies, but the babies are coming quicker and SMALLER! (I know, I know, now that I have said that I will be humbled greatly with a long labor and ginormous baby.) I am 16 weeks and 4 days today. At my check-up on Thursday our sweet baby had a heart rate of 155bpm. Hearing the baby's heartbeat is one of the most beautiful sounds! I have been feeling the little poppyseed moving around and can't wait to be able to share those moments with Shawn. Of all of my pregnancies, this one is by far the easiest. Besides the fact that I have a large belly and can smell things most animals wouldn't even pick up on, I forget at times that I am pregnant. Salt has become my new best friend. Oh how I love salty foods! I can do without chocolate and desserts, but sit be in front of a bag of tortilla chips and I'll punish those babies in 5 minutes! The kids are getting more and more excited for the baby.
Evie's behaivor has improved dramatically because she "wants to be good to help the baby gorw." She also loves looking at the Pregnancy Week-by-Week book to see what the baby is doing and how much he/she has grown.
Jude will hug my tummy and give the baby kisses. Since he doesn't get the concept of what a brother is he will tell you he wants a sister, but if you ask him if he wants the baby to be a boy or a girl- he'll say, "I want a boy, Mommy".
Maria has been the baby the longest of all of our kids. Poor girl doesn't know what's coming! She will rub my tummy and give kisses, and also likes to lift my shirt and share her nuk with the baby by putting it in my bellybutton. Though I encourage sharing, it kind of grosses me out that she does that!
Only a few more weeks until we find out if Poppyseed will be a boy or a girl. I am hoping for a baby. I just want any baby God entrusts in our care.

Friends, Fondue, and Bingo

It has been an eventful couple of weeks at the Tyler home. I recently celebrated my 30th birthday! WAHOO!!! It has been a birthday I have been looking forward to for almost 10years. The celebration began with a fondue/swimming party with my girlfriends. Continued with burgers and bingo with the family, and ended by feeding the ducks and enjoying time with my husband and kids. It was all I could hope for. But the best part of my birthday was the gift Jude gave me. He potty trained himeself on my actual birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of him!!!!

The yummy chocolate fountain with all of the dipping treats. There was also cheese fondue.

My amazing girlfriends!

At Red Robin with my family. Sporting the '30' glasses given to me the night before.

My family after bingo. (not pictured: Arlene, Jenny, Jen and Eric) No one won. But my dad had a false bingo and there was a lot of excitement. I can't wait to play again!

The awesome cake my kids made me. We had a great time feeding the ducks and playing at the park. Afterwards we ate at Betty's Pies. Yum Yum!
