Father's Day Fun

I must say how wonderful it is to celebrate Father's Day for the man I love. Every child we bring into the world is just a small example of how much I love him. Father's are so important and should be help up high. To celebrate this year we went to my Father-in-Law's cabin for the day and had the most relaxing day ever!

It's Circus Time!

It's crazy how fast time flies the older kids get. I was planning on posting a few separate fun times we've had, but, since time had it's way with me, they will be grouped together as one big article.

HOUSEHOLD CHORES

If you have more than one child in your home, you understand how quickly you go through dishes in the house. As the kids are getting older they are starting to help out a little more with the housework. It started off with Maria "washing" dishes with about 2" of water in the sink. Progressed to Evie actually cleaning a couple of dishes with some soap and water. Became a project for Jude to see what happens when you fill the sink up all of the way and add an entire bottle of dish soap.

ARTSY FARTSY
The kids LOVE art in my house. Maria has since joined in the fun and has been drawing pictures and writing notes just like her brother and sister. This is a fantastic new thing in our house because it keeps them busy for such a long time- until someone starts drawing on themselves or eating the markers.

HAIR STYLIST
Evie now has bangs! She decided her hair was too long and cut at least 4" across the front. It took all I had to not burst out laughing when I saw it. Luckily she didn't butcher her hair. It looks like it was cut on purpose. This picture makes it look almost like a mullet, but it's better in person. The bummer, well, it's not my favorite hairstyle on her, but she is still pretty as ever.

Family Fire

We had our 2nd family bonfire of the summer. The kids have so much fun with them and LOVE the S'mores.
Sweet Sisterly Love! Maria loves being with her "Etie" these days. Evie keeps a great sense of humor when handling her sister's "Terrible Two" moments.
There is a pathetic bush in the backyard the kids climb. Maria has recently started climbing it with her brother and sister.
Did you know Donkey's can climb trees?
Evie roasting her marshmallow to perfection.
The professional taste-testers making sure the treats are of great quality.
 Ahhhhh...This is relaxation!
Jude didn't want to get too close to the fire. Thank goodness he's cautious about that!
