It's official- we have a KINDERGARTNER!
Evie had her very last day of preschool yesterday. It's hard to believe she will be riding a bus to school in the fall. Evie has come a long way since starting preschool. Separation anxiety was a struggle for a year and a half, but she has outgrown that. She is also writing her first and last name, phone number, and has learned some Spanish.

It's Raining It's Pouring...Let's Go Play In It!
Yesterday morning my kids brought me down to a great reality. Jude and Maria went outside while it was raining and were playing in the puddles. Admittedly, I was not thrilled when I saw this, but I stopped for a second and remembered how much fun I would have playing in the puddles when I was a kid. Immediately my attitude changed and I was excited for them. It was time to get Evie from school, so I loaded up my rain soaked kids and we picked her up. When we got back home we let the fun continue.

A Visit With Baby Poppyseed
We got to see our baby last week on Thursday. This time we brought all of the kids with so they coud find out if they were having a little brother or sister. The guesses went as follows: Shawn- boy, Missie- girl, Evie- girl, Jude- boy, Maria- ahti. They had a great time watching the baby move on the screen. This was the first time during an ultrasound I got to see my baby swallow and flap thier jaws. We may have a talker on our hands!! I was convinced we were having a girl all up until we found out the baby's heartrate. The tech told us it was at 144bpm. Then I was pretty sure we were having a boy, but didn't want to back out of my guess at the last minute. Sure enough, we're having another boy!!! Shawn is 4/4 and I am 0/4 when guessing the gender of our babies.
