I found out today a friend is dying. I grew up with her my entire life. I would say she is more of a cousin to me- definitely family. We played together while growing up and I would see her through the years as we got older. It's hard to believe that will come to an end. God has seen her suffering and is calling her home. There is no anger, because God has a plan. He knows what He is doing and it is all out of love. I pray for her peace and for the peace of her family.
Life is so precious and we never know when our job will be done on earth. Call someone you haven't talked to in awhile. Forgive the person in your life who has caused you the most pain. Make today your day of peace. We are blessed for all we get to go through in life.

Watch out Lindsey Vonn!
Evie went skiing with her Daddy and Nanna at Afton Alps. It was her first time out this year. She did a fantastic job and skied for 3 hours! Not even I last that long! Evie loves going on the chair lift and when you ask her what her favorite part was she will tell you, "the skiing". Maybe you will one day see her in the Olympics!

Date Night
Since September Shawn and I have gone on a weekly date night. Not only has it been the most amazing thing we have done to bring us closer together, but it is showing our kids how important it is to put your spouse first. Here's what happened:
Jude: Mommy, you and Daddy go on a date?
Mommy: Yes we did.
Jude: Where did you go?
Mommy: We went out to eat.
Jude: Oh...Mommy, you and me go on a date?
Mommy: I would love to! What do you want to do on our date?
Jude: Go on rides. They go fast!
Mommy: Sounds like fun! What else should we do?
Jude: Eat dinner.
Mommy: Oooo! Good idea! Where?
Jude: Costco. We can go and eat a cheese sandwich.
What a little gentleman!! I have girl time with Evie and Jude wants to start date nights with me. I love it!!

The BEST New Year EVER!
It's 2010 and a brand new beginning. I have been looking forward to this year for a long time. Things started off fantastic when we found out we are adding to our family. The newest baby Tyler is due September 22, 2010. We have been spending a lot of time with our family and friends. I am eagerly awaiting my 30th birthday in March. I don't think I have ever been more excited for a birthday before!
Shawn has been working hard and recently became a ski patrol for Afton Alps. I am so proud of him! It was a lot of hard work and it has finally paid off.
Evie is in Junior Kindergarten and growing like a weed! She also likes to mother her siblings on a constant basis. I have flash backs of my childhood when I watch her do that!
Jude just turned three and is pretty funny. As you may know, he has an obsession with getting into food. (Pictures to come at a later date). He has since figured out to hide food in his room so he can eat it at a later time. Ohhhh Jude!!!
Maria is 1 1/2 years and is the most active of the three. If she isn't climbing on something, taking things apart, being "artistic", playing legos, or picking on her brother, she is probably sleeping. She doesn't do much talking, but what 3rd child does?!
Pal is still around. Silly Pal! He's being good and still stinky. We added to the excitement and Evie got a cat for her birthday. His name is Nugget. He could be clinically defined as crazy. As soon as it warms up, he will be able to wander outside as much as he wants and be the barn cat he wants to be.
We are starting the slow process of painting our house. Jude's room is first. Our goal is to have the house painted by the time the baby arrives.
I don't have too much more to say. I will get some pictures and videos up on here soon! Thanks for checking in!
